We test our filters

Fortunately, with the right technology, it is possible to produce significantly better filters for almost any ventilation system, but there are a few things that need to be tested first. For example, it is incredibly important that the filter doesn’t increase the airflow’s resistance more than absolutely necessary.

At Danfilter, we therefore test and document our products in accordance with current industry standards and in accordance with the specifications of the system’s manufacturers. We test our filters in different ways to ensure our products meet our high quality requirements before they are sent to the consumer.

Our test center

At Danfilter, we invested in our own test center, so that we can continuously test our filters, develop new ones and to conduct quality tests on our filters, thus ensuring a good quality in the filtration.

Development of F9 panel filter

After much thorough research and many requests from our private customers, we have developed our F9 panel filter. The filter is a very fine filter that can remove up to 63% of harmful particles from the outside air, and is also available in a version to removes odour.

We, ourselves, developed this filter as some of our customers live in areas with high emissions of harmful particles and odours. These customers have also been involved in testing our newly developed filters, and based on the test results, our F9 panel filter became part of our large filter selection.

Technological Institute

We work with the Technological Institute, which tests and documents our filters. In cooperation with the system manufacturers, we develop the filters of the future. This means that you always get a quality filter with the right fit when purchasing from Danfilter.

ISO 16890 vs EN 779:2012

ISO 16890 started in 2017-2018 and replaced the previous European standard EN779: 2012. All filter classes were given new names according to the ISO standard, but the old names will stay in our vocabulary for many years to come - you will therefore find both the old and new terms at Danfilter.
